Our Journey
Work Built Over Time
Where It Began
The company behind Ridgefield Web is Westport Web, established in Westport, Connecticut, in 2004 to build websites for local businesses.
Beyond the Website
The work grew past building pages as online discovery became central to business. Search engine optimization and digital marketing were added to help useful websites reach their audiences.
The Rise of AI Answers
AI assistants changed how some people discover services. The team responded with AI search optimization and practical integrations, including chatbots and voice agents.
Ridgefield's Studio
Ridgefield Web starts work in Ridgefield, offering local businesses a studio close at hand.
who we are
People Who Build, Design and Improve Websites
Ridgefield Web works with a shared team that understands design, code and online discovery. Designers think through what visitors need, developers build the functionality, and search specialists consider how people will find the finished work in Google and AI results. Keeping those decisions connected makes the website more useful from its first release.
We Listen First
We learn how people use your services before planning what the website should help them achieve.
Built to Last
Clean development, device testing and search preparation all matter from the start.
Transparent Pricing
Every proposal describes the work and cost before development begins. No hidden fees.
There After Launch
We provide the training and care plans needed to look after a website over time.

What We Offer
The Work Behind a Useful Online Presence
Our team can build the first version of a site, improve how people discover it, add shopping capabilities and bring in AI solutions as needed.
Care is part of the job, not an extra feature. Before a website goes to a client, we ask whether we would be satisfied to use it ourselves.
